Born and raised in Arkansas, my life revolves around climbing, mountaineering, and backpacking. I have a Recreation Management degree from the University of Arkansas. After graduating from National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) I spent time living in Colorado, exploring the Rocky Mountains and traveling in my Jeep. My deep appreciation for quality outdoor products has driven my career and few things sound better than setting up a Geaux Hammock and sleeping under the stars.
Brylee Bender is a Junior from Texarkana, Texas and attends Texas High School. She plays varsity soccer and is a first team all district midfielder. She enjoys playing basketball and volleyball but her first love is soccer. Brylee is well on her way to playing soccer in college. If she's not training for soccer she's hanging out with her friends in her Geaux hammock at the local park.
Originally from New York, I attended the University of Louisville where I was an All-American Field Hockey student athlete and after graduation, I was invited to play for the U.S. Women’s National Team Field Hockey team. Growing up, I enjoyed every possible outdoor activity I could, snowboarding, skiing, skate boarding, soccer, lacrosse and of course field hockey. Being a member of the U.S. National team keeps me busy but I still find time to hike and lounge around in my hammock.
Hey, my name is Hunter. I graduated from Mississippi State with a degree in religion and just recently moved out to Santa Rosa, California for a bit to work for a rafting company. Other places I like to travel are the Smokies, Sipsey Wilderness in AL, Haiti, Peru, and the Florida Keys. I spend as much time as I can hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and of course…hammocking.
I'm a 22 year old nature loving man. I enjoy being outside with my lovely wife and miniature yorkie, if you can't find me at home or work you'll find me in the woods hanging in my hammock. I am a business major at Southern Utah University and am from a small town called Vernal Utah! Geaux follow my adventures at @jordan_maynard5!!!
Hey! I'm Madeline. I am the founder of the travel blog Geaux Adventure, where I share my true passion on how life should be looked at as one big adventure. I have traveled all over the United States, including a 7-week road trip around the whole country. I have traveled to 34 states so far and have a goal to hit all 50. I also have a goal to hit every National Park in the USA. I live for the outdoors! Hiking is one of my favorite things to do & there is nothing better than being able to relax in my GEAUX Hammock after a long hike!
Matt is an Industrial Systems Engineering student at LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He enjoys traveling, hiking, sailing, and taking camping trips with his friends. He never leaves home without his camera bag and his GEAUX Hammock. He frequently visits the Smoky Mountains and the Ozarks, but he hopes to visit Yosemite and Yellowstone in the near future.
My name is Neysha Tirado. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I have spent the last 6 years working in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as an engineer. My passions are photography, cooking, travel, being outside and encouraging others to do the same. I am very much looking forward to taking my Geaux Hammock to my upcoming trip to the Canadian Rockies and to the cliffs of Italy. In the meantime the LSU lakes is my favorite spot to hang!
I was born in Louisiana, raised in Argentina, Texas, and Colorado. I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.A in Economics. I'm a proficient snowboarder and avid rock climber. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, camping and cycling. Contrary to my last name, I've always been on the go so when I'm out spending the day or nights in nature there's nothing like kicking back and relaxing in a GEAUX hammock for me.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Robert currently lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He spends the bulk of his free time galavanting about the Ozarks, and most nights would prefer to sleep in a hammock than a bed. Rock climbing and backpacking are his main interests, but he also enjoys photography, sculpture, target shooting, and travel. He most recently spent time exploring Yosemite National Park, and Zion National Park, and is always looking forward to the next adventure, locally or abroad.
